What is TERRA NULLIUS?
Latin for “land belonging to no one.” In international law, it refers to territory without a valid sovereign claim. Any nation may legally annex it. Once a state is exposed as sitting on unceded land, its sovereignty is null and void.
In front of Parliament, on Canadian soil, the Crown surrendered the legitimacy of the entire nation.
