She reveals that the CIA just declassified 71 presidential daily briefs spanning 1998 through September 2001, including a December 4th, 1998 document warning President Clinton that bin Laden and his allies were preparing attacks inside the United States, including aircraft hijackings. Another 1998 brief was titled “Reports That Bin Laden Is Planning Attacks Inside the U.S.” The well-known August 6th, 2001 PDB “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.” came more than a month before the attacks. Bill Clinton knew — and did nothing.
Kristy then dives into the sequel nobody knew was filming: Operation Encore, the secret FBI follow-up investigation that ran for a decade after the 28 pages came out and stayed buried until 2021. The declassified findings flatly contradicted the 2004 9/11 Commission conclusion, revealing that Omar Al-Bayoumi was a Saudi intelligence agent drawing a paycheck as a ghost employee, and that Fahad Al-Thumari was an accredited Saudi diplomat who arranged the hijackers’ first meeting with Bayoumi. For 20 years, Bayoumi swore that meeting was random chance. The FBI’s own later findings say otherwise.
