Gabbard stated that high-ranking officials in the Obama administration, including President Obama, Vice President Biden, CIA Director Brennan, and FBI Director Comey, were involved in promoting the Russia collusion narrative despite having no intelligence to support it.
Gabbard explained that these officials knew from the beginning that the narrative was connected to Hillary Clinton’s campaign and was designed to distract from her email scandal. She indicated that the officials continued to push this narrative to undermine the incoming Trump administration.
Gabbard emphasized that this constituted a serious abuse of power and called for accountability for those involved. She noted that the American people deserve to know the truth about these actions taken by government officials.
