How you can Donate

Hello my dear Community of Light. Some of you have asked to be able to pay in their currency and some would like to do a yearly contribution. And you were many to ask for more flexibility in the payment options.

We are now offering WhyDonate besides the PayPal donation option. With WhyDonate you can choose from a lot of different currencies and also have more payment options. Besides you can choose between a One Time Donation, A Monthly Donation and even a Yearly Donation. Their platform is financed by your Tips. You can choose the amount you want to Tip to WhyDonate and you can even set this Tip to 0. Of course, also WhyDonate has payment processing fees. Those are different depending on the chosen currency and you can see them here.

If you’d like to minimize payment processing fees, you can also donate in the cryptocurrencies XRP and XLM. If you’re new to cryptocurrency or unfamiliar with XRP and XLM, this might be a great opportunity to explore the topic. Please note, this is not financial advice — but my choice of these cryptocurrencies for donations might be a small hint that they could be worth looking into.
