A reader recently told me that Lightworkers should stay away from Politics, Religion and Sex, and walk the Middle of the Road the way the Ascended Masters would. So should Lightworkers look away? It’s a sincere point, and it deserves a sincere answer, rooted in Discernment.

My dear IntoTheLight.news readers,
A few days ago I received a comment that made me pause. It wasn’t angry, and it wasn’t written to hurt. It came from someone who clearly cares about the Light, and so I want to give it the honest answer it deserves. It was posted below the article Democrats Plan Insurrection while Trump Plans Victory: The Coup-Coup Dems Outed, and here it is in full:
“I believe that all light-worker sites must refrain from expressing views of the three sensitive issues in society. They are Sex, Religion, and Politics. They must also refrain from posting, reporting, and/or posting the views of any side, especially when there are no posting of the facts to verify, or rely on. If any of the ascended masters were to walk down the road, they would walk in the middle of the street, not on the left, nor the right. Some posting on this site make me question the truthfulness, the integrity, and the LIGHT that is being brought forth. An advanced light-worker with a higher awareness would not present some of the posts that I have seen in the past.”
To the dear Soul who wrote this: thank you. I mean that. It takes Courage to say what you think, and questions like yours keep all of us honest. So let’s look at the Question together: should Lightworkers look away from Politics?
What You Get Right
Let me start with where I fully agree. The Light is not about choosing a team and throwing stones at the other one. Hatred, Mockery and Fear have no place in a Community that wants to help Humanity rise. And yes, Truth matters. Nobody should be asked to swallow Information blindly, without their own Discernment.
So let me share openly how I work. Every post on this site names and links its original Source, so you can always go back to where it came from and look for yourself. And nothing appears here that hasn’t first passed through my own Discernment. I read, I listen, I feel into it, and I only share what resonates with me as Truth. If something doesn’t feel right, I leave it aside.
That doesn’t make me infallible. I know that I know nothing yet. But it does mean that what you find here is not a random pile of opinions. It’s a carefully chosen, very personal selection. And you remain completely free to run it through your own Discernment, too. That Freedom is sacred to me.
The Hidden Assumption: “If We Look at It, We Feed It”
Behind the wish to keep Politics and other “sensitive” topics away from spiritual sites, I often sense a deeper belief that many of us were taught along the way: what you give your Attention to, you create more of. So don’t look at the Darkness, and it will fade.
Jean Nolan recently spoke about exactly this in a video that I shared here: The Most Dangerous New Age Lie?. His viewers had told him that by reporting on a disturbing story, he was helping to create it. His answer is one of the clearest I have heard on this topic.
He asks a simple question: if Attention creates something, why did ignoring it never make it go away? For decades, almost nobody talked about Child Trafficking, about Toxins in our food and water, or about the growth of Surveillance and Corruption. All of these grew and grew while the world looked away. As he puts it: “Because when nobody looks, nothing can change.”
He offers a few gentle examples, too. People who prepare for Winter don’t create Snow. Whistleblowers don’t create the Corruption they expose. Healers don’t create Disease by understanding it. And Historians who study War don’t cause Wars. In his words: “The observer does not have to be the absorber.”
In the same video, Jean Nolan shares a clip of his conversation with Gregg Braden, who explains what he learned from Tibetan monks and nuns: “It’s not what we think. It’s the love that we have for our thoughts or the fear that we have of our thoughts that empower them and breathe life into them.” And then comes his beautiful invitation: “Please don’t be afraid to think.”
That rang so true for me. It isn’t the looking that feeds the Darkness. It’s the Fear we pour into what we see. Jean Nolan sums it up perfectly: “What matters more than what you’re looking at is who you are while you’re looking at it.”
The old Wisdom Traditions he mentions point the same way. Buddhism teaches us to observe Suffering, Fear and Desire without becoming attached to them. Christianity tells us to test everything and bring what is hidden into the Light. And the Hermetic and Gnostic teachings say that Knowledge liberates, while Ignorance keeps us bound.
Should Lightworkers Look Away? Bringing into the Light Means Looking
When I started this site, I gave it a simple purpose: “Because it is time to bring mother earth and her inhabitants into the light.” I’ve come to understand that we can’t bring anything into the Light while we keep our eyes closed to it.
Politics, Religion, Health, Money: these are exactly the areas where so much of Humanity’s Control and Suffering has been hidden for so long. If Lightworkers leave them out, we leave out a large part of the picture, and with it, a large part of the Healing.
In my recent article about the many Circles of Awakening, I described how some of us live mostly in the Spiritual Circle, others in the world of Truth-Seeking and Geopolitics, others in Extraterrestrial Contact, and some in what many call “The Movie”. Each Circle is precious. The reader who wrote this comment seems to stand strongly in the Spiritual Circle, and that’s beautiful. My own feeling is simply that the Greater Picture only begins to show itself when we allow ourselves to look into the other Circles too.
Walking the Middle of the Road, My Way
I truly love the image of an Ascended Master walking down the Middle of the Street. It touched me. And I would like to add one thought to it.
Walking in the Middle of the Road does not mean not seeing what’s on the left and on the right. I believe a Master sees everything, the Beauty and the Darkness, the Truth and the Lies, without being shaken by any of it. The Middle is not a place of looking away. It’s a place of looking with Love instead of Fear, and without Hatred for anyone.
I also want to be honest with you. I’m not neutral, and I’ve never pretended to be. My choices of posts show where my Heart and my Discernment have led me so far, and you can see that clearly. But sharing a Perspective is not the same as forcing it on anyone. I offer Pieces of the Puzzle. What you do with them is entirely yours.
What You Can Count On: My 3 Promises
- Sources: Every post links to its original Source.
- Discernment: I only share what has passed my own Discernment and resonates with me.
- Many Voices: I’ll keep sharing different Voices, even ones that don’t agree with each other, because none of us sees the Whole Picture alone.
Your Turn
So, should Lightworkers look away? My answer is no. We look, but we look differently: calmly, lovingly and without Fear, anchored in our Higher Self. We let Information pass through our Heart and our Discernment before we accept it. And we take what resonates and leave the rest.
If you feel called, share your own view in the comments below. Whether you agree with me or not, you’re always welcome here, as long as we speak to each other with Respect and Kindness. That, too, is walking the Middle of the Road.
In Love and Light,
